I would gladly step up and volunteer to organize more events on the midwest! I have groomed professionally on the west coast, and in Europe & Canada...sadly my midwestern "Sisters with scissors"are in need of more educational opportunities...and mentorship by the our fabulous groom team USA!

I was at the very first Intergroom in New Jersey. I remember Carol Miller won with a party color min poodle.John Nash was the judge and there were about 5 groomers in the ring! It was in ONE room! The saucer dryer was the new thing. The first creative clip was a hoot too. Lenette Wallace,I think she was from Georgia, did a white min poodle in a Spiral clip. We were all wowed by that. She took a 7/8 poodle blade and went around the dog like a barber's pole.I always wondered what happened to her .We never saw her again.A few years later, It went up to 2 rooms! Loretta Voight was still at the Nash grooming school and got a round of applause for bathing and fluff drying the dogs at the show! Those were REALLY the good old days. Keep on snipping guys we do and always will, be proud of you.

I was researching scholarships for grooming school and discovered the website. This is the first I've heard of it and will bookmark after viewing.
All the best!

My love for dogs and cats is to make them look and feel their best. Perfection is my objection dealing with pets.
